Professional Practise When going to film this documentary there a number of things that I and the rest of the team have to be aware about. This is ethical and industry codes, understanding and recgonising Ofcom rules, risks that we may run into and how to avoid them, the equipment that I will be using for sound and release forms for our primaries and anyone else involved in the documentary. Overall, we must remember to be as professional when filming and when in contact with our primaries. We will be using risk assement forms when we go out onto location. We have to ensure the safety of not longer the crew, but the primaries and the general public as well. As well as risk assement forms we will being using release forms, so when we are filming people they are too sign the form so that we are allowed to put them into our documentary. Our main risks that will be in our documentary is filming illegal activity, portraying our primaries in a way that can be seen as offensive and the crew getting into harms way as well. –3.1 Material likely to encourage or incite the commission of crime or to lead to disorder must not be included in television or radio services.
–3.2 Descriptions or demonstrations of criminal techniques which contain essential details which could enable the commission of crime must not be broadcast unless editorially justified.
–3.6 Broadcasters must use their best endeavours so as not to broadcast material that could endanger lives or prejudice the success of attempts to deal with a hijack or kidnapping. |
