Flash mobsA flash mob is a group of people who meet in a public place, perform an unusual act and then disperse when the act is finished. Flash mobs are organised using e-mail, social networking sites and websites. The people involved in the flash mob don't often know each other and would only appear with a few people they know.

The flash mob consisted of 130 people attending a Macy's store where they all browsed an expensive rug, if approached they said that they all live together and make group decisions on everything they buy.
